The Asian Foundation of Orthopedics and Neurology (AFVON)
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Milind Hatekar with the invaluable support of Dr. Kiran, and under the guidance of esteemed experts such as Dr. Bruno Perione, Dr. Matthias Frank, and Dr. Daniel Damur, the Veterinary Orthopedic Foundation (VOF) started its journey in India with the aim of advancing veterinary care. Two years later, Dr. Kunal Dev Sharma joined the group, contributing to numerous seminars and hands-on workshops across India and Asia.
What began as a small initiative to upskill veterinary professionals in the fields of orthopedics and neurology has since grown into a leading South East Asian organization. The Asian Foundation of Orthopedics and Neurology (AFVON) now represents a larger, more inclusive community dedicated to advancing these critical fields.
